Upcoming Fight: Ward vs. Smith
Oakland’s own WBA Super Middleweight World Champion, Andre Ward (27-0, 14 KO’s), will be fighting on Saturday, June 20, 2015 against former World Title Challenger, Paul Smith (35-5, 20 KO’s), at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
Dogtown’s own, Tony Hirsch, will be fighting on the undercard in a 6 round fight.
We are in discussions with Oracle Arena on getting a group block of tickets for the fight. If you are interested, come see or email Dan to let him know.
Rep Your City
This week we will be selling blue and yellow hoodies to honor the Warriors and green and yellow to honor the Oakland As. Quantities are limited, so snag yours quick and show some Oakland pride!
Spartan Relay Recap
Thank you to all of you that participated in the Spartan Race this past Saturday, June 6th. You survived the grueling combination of technical terrain and punishing obstacles over rolling hills, water, and Monterey mud! Congratulations Michael, Masaya, Jen, Fabien, and others! We will do it again next year and hope to see some more faces out there.
CrossFit Kids Camp
Dogtown Athletic is the only venue in the East bay to offer CrossFit Kids. We are very excited to introduce a week long camp this summer. There will be a daily schedule that will keep your kids happily busy:
Morning stretches
Fitness activities focusing on strength, conditioning, agility, and flexibility
Healthy and yummy snacks
Kid friendly nutrition lessons
Creative and educational hands-on activities

Triple-F Special: aka Friends & Family of Founders
Hello Dogtown Athletes! We wanted to remind you of our Triple F Special.
Each of our Founders Member has 3 invitations to give out to friends and family. Your invite gets your friend or family member in to our special rate of $100/month. Additionally, we are upgrading our Founders Members memberships to “officially” unlimited, and your guests will be capped at 3 classes/wk for that $100 rate.
For those of you that are receiving this newsletter and are not yet members, ask a Founders Member that you know to give you an invitation if you want to join at this special rate.
If you joined after the first 100 Founders Members were completed, we want you to know that you too are much appreciated. You can choose 3 classes/wk at $100/month or for $149/month, be upgraded to unlimited classes.
